Indocare has been around since 1988, started as a transparent soap distributor, and grow into a player in the health supplements and personal care product market that consistently in search of innovations for Indonesian consumers and beyond.
For more than 30 years Indocare has stayed committed to its mission: To enhance the quality of life through our products, that are innovative, natural, safe, and efficacious.
If you are particularly conscious about your health, there is a high chance that you are familiar with ‘Ester-C’ – the innovative vitamin C that is gentle on the stomach. Indocare is one of the only six Ester-C distributors in the world; and the first company that introduced Ester-C to Indonesian consumers back in 1991, under the brand ‘Total Image’. Later, we have launched our own Ester-C product under the brand ‘Holisticare’.
Today, Holisticare has grown to become a leading Ester-C brand in Indonesia and at present, our product has been marketed in Southeast Asian countries.

Milestones
1988
Indocare began its journey as a direct-selling company that specified on marketing transparent soap.
1989
Started to market transparent soap to mass and overseas markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and the USA.
1991
Started to market health supplements to the mass market. Indocare obtained a license to distribute various health supplements under the ‘Total Image’ brand, including Ester-C, which immediately became a market success.
1993
Started to manufacture personal care products and transparent soaps.
1997
Appointed as a worldwide non-exclusive marketer of finished goods containing Ester-C by Inter-Cal Corporation.
1998
Became the first company in Indonesia and the world that produces Ester C in effervescent form.
2001
Became the first company in Indonesia and the world that produces Ester C in Chewable/Sweetlet form.
2001
Indocare started a B2B division that helps other companies in developing and producing health supplements and personal care products and also exporting Indocare very own products.
2003
Indocare first applied International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001:2000) to ensure consistency in quality and improve customer satisfaction. The certificate has been renewed to ISO 9001: 2015.
2005
Indocare Management applied Balanced Score Card (BSC) system.
2008
Appointed by The Ester C Company as the sole distributor of Ester C in the Asia Region.
2008
Obtained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for Cosmetics, which ensures that the products are manufactured under rigid care and safety measures.
2017
Holisticare Ester C has obtained halal certification from the Indonesian Ulema Council.
2018
In its 30th year anniversary, Indocare has officially joined Konimex Group.
